Susana Negre

Susana Negre's art and designs have a great influence from all her travels, experiences and mix of cultures.She was born in Barcelona in 1974 and lived there until 2000 when she moved to London to study and work, what would be an experience of one year turned into 12 years, having the opportunity to live also in Mexico and Rio de Janeiro. She first trained in London at Central Saint Martin’s School, University of Arts London and then in Barcelona at the atelier-school run by the renowned Spanish artist Teresa Rosa Aguayo, in 2019 she graduated in Textile Art and Design at the Escola Massana, school of art and design in Barcelona. She likes to explore materials and how they can be transformed into a space and complement each other as well as she likes to combine techniques, traditional weaving and embroidery adding contemporary flair.
